You must give what you want to receive.

If you want love, you must be more loving. If you want understanding, you must be understanding. That’s the proper sequence — giving first, then being open to receiving. But remember: You must give without expecting anything in return. Also, because the emotional bank account between you and your partner may be in the red, you may have to give a lot more than you initially thought to get out of debt and begin experiencing the flow of reciprocity.

Set your mind on things above.

2 Corinthians 5

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Have patience just wait and see what God will do in his own time…

Sometimes, I wish God operated through my timetable and plans. Don’t you? Sometimes I feel like my prayers are unheard and unanswered, when everything seems awfully silent. Ever wondered why God was asking you to wait and yet he is not saying anything? Do you feel maybe, just maybe if you did one thing right then maybe he’ll answer? Well, I do sometimes but that is not always the case.

To be honest, walking with God is amazing. He enlarges your footsteps so that your feet may not slip. He orders your step and communicates with you whenever he wants to. Wonderful isn’t it? But sometimes, I still find myself grumbling, growing impatient of waiting and still he refuses to speak. Am sure you are wondering if God truly speaks to us? If he does, how do we know? God speaks and is still speaking. Christianity is a relationship and every relationship is established and maintained through communication. John 17:3 (KJV)  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
God is not limited to one form of communication and so he expects us to learn to listen and know his voice. God expects us to have a close relationship with him, to enable him communicate with us while we know and understands when he speaks.
One of the best ways God speaks to us is through his word, *2 Timothy 3:16-17 (KJV)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

As the years go by, I have learnt that whenever God is silent and asks me to wait, he is working on bigger and wonderful projects for me. Just the way it is with us when we want bigger opportunities, we wait and get the best knowledge required even if it takes us ten years (10), we still find ourselves willing to wait it out. Charles Stanley- Our willingness to wait reveals the value we place on what we are waiting for.
So it is with God, sometimes when he asks us to wait and keeps quiet then it’s because he is working out the best. He may appear to be late but believe me, when he does show up, he will still be on time. Psalms 90:4 (KJV)  For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

My grandmother would always say ” waiting is not delay my child, it’s your planting season. God is watching you plant, when you are done, he does the watering. The period he is asking you to wait, he is watering your plant and when he still remains silent, it means your plant is not matured enough for harvest. He wants you to wait and trust him.
I never truly understood what she meant each time she says that, because the human nature is not the patient one most of the time. But as I grew older( am not 70 yet…Smiles), and started walking with the Lord, everything started to make sense.

God speaks through the silence and he wants us to know that. He wants us to know that we are not alone. When he is asking you to wait, then my dearest friends, please wait. He’s working out the best, I know it’s hard to believe and understand but the truth is, you don’t have to understand, you just have to trust him.
He never disappointed anyone that he has asked to wait,he would not start with you!

Let’s ask him for patient in this silence. We are going to need a lot of that if we are going to wait on him. The harvest is always bountiful when we wait on him.
If you want to wait patiently on him while he works it all out for you, then you must always remind yourself of his faithfulness in your life in time past, those memories will help you stay strong when you feel broken. Ask him to help you wait, if he’s asking you to wait, then be rest assured he is there with you.
You don’t have to do it on your own, and you definitely can not do it on your own.
You and I need his rest to be ok.

A little insight of my life

As I journey along the long and narrow path which is called “the way to heavens gates” I often stumble upon the simplistically of His Majestic plan.

Follow me he said…but how can a rebellious, stubborn, heedless girl like me ever take instructions, which is only intended to lead me to righteousness.

I love my own way it makes me feel like I’m in control every once in a while.

Growing up with strict parents I often find myself desiring to be in command of my own life instead of having someone dictate my “plans” for my present and for my future.

I often see that their intentions are good but I want to see where my choices in this life will bring me…will I make the right choice…will I know how to react if the situation turn out in a way it wasn’t intended to…what are my limits…how far can I push myself…but with a constant feeling like I’m being held back by a chain as a cage animal I don’t “feel” like I have much control over my life, so being submissive when I have the “freedom of choice” I often lean to “self will” instead of his will for my life.

But as each day past I see how my will only bring horrible tragedies while obeying him I see he makes the best choices for me.

And as I yearn to Him and His will I see a lot of self growth from Doubt to Faith, Weakness to Strength, impatience to patient, from a vague life to a Lucid life and most importantly from self will to his will.

As I continue to grow I wish the same for all my followers.

Blessing and Power.
